Why this is hard

Every one of these is a real problem in the product, not a hypothetical. Most of the work sits in the parts users only notice when they go wrong.

FormatsA PDF, a workbook and a presentation behave nothing alike, and none of them may become a flattened preview.
OfflineEditing without a connection is easy; reconciling those edits afterwards without losing work is not.
ConflictsTwo versions of one file have to be shown as two real versions, clearly enough that a human can choose.
RevisionsHistory has to protect people from mistakes without becoming noise they learn to ignore.
ImportYears of existing files must arrive with their structure intact, and honestly report what could not be carried.
Three devicesOne model of files, revisions and sharing across desktop, web and Android — without pretending they are the same device.
PortabilityStandard files stay standard. Anything that makes leaving expensive is a bug, not a moat.

Where the product is today

Eiswe is in active development. The backend, the desktop application, the Android app and the web workspace all exist and are being worked on — but no public build has been released yet.

That is the honest picture: real software, real backend, real cross-device model, and a first public version still being finished. Joining now means the decisions that are still open are ones you could influence.
